Link to a web site where questions to be reviewed shortly after the student arrives.  Great ice breaker and helps everyone to understand the rules - written and unwritten.   Can be printed in multiple language pair translations for easy comprehension by student and family.


The following information pertains to the insurance required by District 6990 for Inbound and Outbound students.  Insurance is REQUIRED of all exchange students and CISI - Bolduc is the agency which is to be used unless other insurance is required by a country or District hosting an Outbound.  If Inbound students are required to have a certain insurance from a local insurance company, a CISI Bolduc Plan A policy may be required to participate in District 6990.  The required insurance meets all Rotary guidelines.

YEO/Counselor Handbook A comprehensive document dealing with the responsibilities of a Youth Exchange Officer and/or counselor and outlines the program from all aspects - Inbound, Outbound, club, District, etc.

Host Family Initial

Home Visit Form

Form to be completed after hosting Rotary Club YEO has interviewed prospective host family.

Second Home Visit Form This is a link to an on line form which must be completed within 60 days of a student moving in to a host family.  Must be completed by someone other than the individual who located the host family.

Volunteer Application Form

This must be completed by every person working with exchange youth - YEO, counselor, committee members or individuals anticipated to have significant "unsupervised" contact with exchange students.  Required by Rotary and for US based clubs, the State Department.

Travel request form
